Hi. In case anyone else is replacing their cigar lighter fuse, it is not F44 as specified in the manual, but F52. Also, the fuse I was replacing was 20A, not 15A. FYI I have a 2004 Fiat Ducato 2.3. I have seen this posted elsewhere so is not just specific to my vehicle. Both F52 and F44 are in the passenger side (right-hand drive) fuse box located in the dash board end.
I found that it was worthwhile to get my garage to re-direct the two dashboard 12v sockets to be fed from the habitation batteries, rather than the engine battery. It makes them useable for all sorts of purposes with no danger of running the vehicle battery down.
