Registering

Several people from both Exsis Facebook groups would like to join the forum and have tried to register. They´re unable to. I tried myself with another email address, as if I were a new member:  no success, the registration page is not working. Is there someone to have a look? Thanks!

Hello Chris & Peter, great to hear from you, I was away in the New Forest last week so sorry for delay in catching up and communicating.

Sorry to hear that there is an issue…… it seems that this site receives very few post these days and I had assumed that most people use the social media site ( which I never have, but have thought that I must be missing out on  recent news and info.

I frequently look at this site, but often don’t actually log in unless I am making or replying to a post – such as today.

I hope there is not a problem as there is loads of useful info here.

The administration was taken over from Barry by C V Claydon (Chris) some years ago and hosted on his company website. Chris made many enthusiastic and technical modifications to his Exsis ( which he bought from Charlie, but I am not aware of him posting for a very long time…..likely he uses a Facebook site?

I don’t know how to contact him or prompt him if there is a problem, other than the instruction at the Home Page contact info@exsisowners.com……… I will try this also

Hope that this is not the beginning of the end of an era for the Exsis website and family of owners.

I may have to bite the bullet and learn new social media skills and join yourselves and others old & new on these social media platforms

Please pass on my regards to past members here who are still active Exsis owners, many like me are nearly 4 times older than the Exsis……which leads me to ask on your groups ‘ Has anyone thought of a meet/get together to celebrate 20 years of the Exsis (introduced to UK in 2004)

Good News for Exsis owners trying to register on this site.

Our dear friends Chris & Peter ( longterm Exsis owners from Belgium) posted above on this thread that owners who use the Facebook group had found difficulty being able to register on this site.

Thankfully, Chris our administrator and very obliging host for this site has reported to me that he has resolved the issue.

I have asked Chris & Peter to pass this information on to the Facebook groups on behalf of Chris as he and I do not have a link to those groups.

If anyone else on those groups see  this message then  it would be useful if you could also spread the good word .

Best wishes to voices from the past and newer owners of our unique little motorhome.

Another thought to think about…….

The Exsis was introduced to the UK in early 2004 – that makes it 20 years old next year 

Would there be interest in getting at least 20 vans together to mark this landmark?????
