Morning all, quite a week for us this week. Have said a sad farewell to our beloved Exsis SK as new owner Steve takes over the reigns. Hope you have as many fantastic adventures as we have over the last 14 years Steve. Tomorrow we pick up our new van, not a Hymer sadly as we couldn’t find the right layout for us in the current range. So we’ve plumped for an Adria (and yes I have already washed my mouth out with soap guys😂😂). I guess this means you might need to ask us to leave the forum and that’s fine but we’d love to stay if you’ll let us; we’ve loved being part of this group for the kindness, great advice and sense of fun enshrined in its ethos. All the best to everyone and stay safe, France and Mike.

Time marches on, Mike & France…

It’s been really good having you as ‘Exsis chums’, offering advice, helping with Exsistravaganzas, and generally being great and reliable companions.  So, a big “Thank you”, not just from me but from all of us in our little ‘club’, for all the effort you put in, mostly unseen and ‘behind the scenes’.  But as I said, time marches on… but an ‘Adria’, Mike?? 😄 I’m joking of course, I just know it’s a beautiful ‘van.

Have a great time in (it/him/her?) and enjoy your travels, whenever we’re permitted.

Love and best wishes to you both.

Thanks for the update Mike, that nearly satisfies my curiosity and saves me pondering and perhaps being nosey  and asking if you were updating or discontinuing the motorhome life, but not quite as Adria do PVC/Compact (narrow body) and wider bodied models – all longer than the 5.4m Exsis.

Gill’s sister and husband have owned an Adria Matrix (6m) since 2014 and they have been very pleased with it.

You have made major contributions for events and experiences and advice so it would be good for newer members if you would continued to support us…..the Home page welcome says it all and we have always been an open and friendly forum ” the Website for owners and admirers …..” and I am sure that you will have fond memories of your Exsis years.

The very best of wishes to you and Fran and to Steve the new owner.

            Regards, Fred

              1. Hi Fred, the actual model we have bought is an Adria Matrix Axess 520 ST. It’s 5.95m long, 2.20m wide and under 3m high. It has fowur belted seats, an electric bed over a large lounge that converts to beds for the grandkids, a rear kitchen and bathroom and all sits on a Fiat 2.3 chassis. So it’s a bit bigger than an Exsis but has a big open plan layout, perfect for our emerging needs. Thanks for your kind words and we’d be delighted to stay in the great Hymer Exsis community. Regards to you both. Mike.
