Hi Gary
Very happy to give you and your wife a tour of our SK.
We are on the Wirral so come under the Liverpool area restrictions, this means we haven’t got a clue what will happen after the national lockdown ends.
Please get in touch after the lockdown to make arrangements if you are able to and want to come down here.
Alan
Hi
Maybe if you use a hot air gun to release the sealant, it should keep it’s shape if you’re careful?
Will do.
Thanks Barry
If you use PayPal I’ll reimburse the postage.

The Webasto heater fitted does not seem to have direct heat into the cab. I believe it is the type that heats the engine coolant and this in turn acts like the engine is running and heating the coolant through the matrix and then into the cab. This has two actions, one it heats the cab and two it brings the engine temp up for cold start.
The cab blower motor stops when the ignition is turned off under normal circumstances and will not flatten the vehicle battery, but with the Webasto heater on and the ignition off, once the Webasto has run for a few minutes the cab blower motor can be used. From what I’ve read so far it seems that the blower motors feed switches from the vehicle battery to the leisure battery, that’s why I would like to know the draw on the leisure battery during this operation.
Hope this makes sense
Alan
Thanks Barry
I can operate and set the timer, it’s just that I would like to know what load it puts on the leisure battery when in use. The cab blower has to be on, this is powered by the leisure battery at that time so I hope the engine battery will be isolated, fingers crossed.

Hi Tony
It’s the connections to the top of the cap on the tank.
I believe they may be resistor wires (not live) if so it’ll be a job and a half checking the resistance on each stage. If there is a clear picture of a good connection I can copy that.
Thanks
We are new owners and didn’t realise that Barry had been paying out of his own pocket to run the site. I would like to suggest that if more than the required money is collected to keep the site alive, Barry should keep a balance to cover his costs.

I have also looked to see if you can get split covers to put on in situ. Sorry it looks like a strip down is required if you want to replace.
The short answer is no if you are talking about the round covers inside the springs.
<p style=”text-align: left;”>Hi Barry</p>
Unfortunately I’m not in a position to take the role on due to work commitments.Maybe If you explain a little more about what is actually involved in running the site. Is a vast knowledge of IT required, you say your son is the main IT man.
There might be people happy to get involved if they know it is more admin than IT.

Hi Johnny
I didn’t bother to take any photos today because there is no shield fitted to the nsf.
There is no real need for one on the ns, unlike the os which has the drive belts exposed.
I wouldn’t worry about it myself, but if you have a Fiat dealer close to you and it’s open, they will have an electronic parts catalogue to look at.
Alan
Hi
My plan is to change the cambelt this week, I’ll take a few photos of the panel when its up in the air.
Did you buy yours from a dealer in Scotland?
Alan
